an inhabitant of the mighty northeast of the united states, is a performative noise artist who collides art, humor, and audio to create performances that dance between arcane, ridiculous, and provocative.
PCRV
Based in Montana, PCRV is a sound artist whose work has steered more into the fluxus traditions, although he still has firm roots in noise provocations.
VERTONEN
Blake Edwards has been exploring sound under the name Vertonen for just over 20 years. His most recent work has focused on repurposing “dated” technology (multi-variable speed turntables, cassette players) and damaged media (customized records, tape machine malfunctions, corroded audio tape).
J. SOLIDAY
Jason Soliday takes everything you’ve suspected about someone working with custom synthesizers, home made electronics, and honed structural intuition and turns it into a beautiful lighting display of sound. Alternating between creaking, exploding, and pulsing, Soliday’s work fills a space like few others can.
