Antonio Roberts is a British digital artist whose artwork focuses on the errors and glitches generated by digital technology. Many people would simply discard such artefacts but Antonio preserves these errors and displays them as art. With his roots in free culture he develops his techniques using open source and freely available software and shares his knowledge through the development of software. hellocatfood.com
Jason Soliday is an electronic musician who has been an active member of Chicago’s sound-making community for over fifteen years, performing improvised and semi-composed works as a solo artist as well as a member of various bands and collaborative projects. Current projects XTAL fSCK with new media/glitch artist Jon Satrom, Cleaved Clever with Jake Rodriguez (bran(…)pos), several recording projects with EVP researcher Michael Esposito, and an improvising duo with bassist Darin Gray (Chikamorachi, Dazzling Killmen, etc.). NICK BRIZ is a new-media artist, educator and organizer based in Chicago IL. His work has been shown internationally at festivals and institutions including the FILE Media Arts Festival (Rio de Janeiro, BR); the Images Festival (Toronto, CA); the Museum of Moving Image (NYC); Museo De Arte Contemporaneo de Caracas (Venezuela); Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago; He is regularly featured in off/online publications including Rhizome, Furtherfield and the Creators Project. He works collaboratively/commercially as Branger_Briz (Miami, FL). He is faculty at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago as well as at the Marwen Foundation. He is also co-founder of the international GLI.TC/H festival as well as the NO-MEDIA performance series.
